Kelly Ayala – Neuropsychotherapy and Movement as a tool for healing

09/07/2018 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Kelly Ayala, MS, LPC-S is the “brains” behind The Branch Counseling PLLC in Dallas, Texas. Her vision is to work with each person from a brain-science approach and offer mind-body treatment options. After years of working in hospitals and managed care she felt as if the whole person was not being acknowledged and branched out to provide a better way of healing.

Kelly helps teens and adults living with depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. She is trained in brain-active interventions such as Neuropsychotherapy, Movement, Meditation and Mindfulness. Such interventions have been researched and proven to alter the brain and strengthen areas of focus and self-regulation.

Kelly believes, “People are my passion, and the brain is my obsession.” She harnesses the dynamic interplay between the art of connection and the science of the brain and body to provide worthwhile and effective psychotherapy.

Kelly is a native Texan, former collegiate athlete, traveler, urban explorer, yogi, fit chick, wife, sister, aunt, and pup mom. She also practices daily meditation and mindfulness. Kelly is a Member of the International Association of Clinical Neuropsychotherapy where she attends annual training in neuroscience and psychotherapy practices. She and her husband, Jason, are also members of the Dallas Film Society and enjoy being a part of the greater Dallas community.
