This is a supervisor refresher course with Connie Cornwell, MA, LMFT-S, LPC-S and Gloria Martin, MA, LMFT-S, LPC-S
Connie S. Cornwell has always believed that people are not just suffering from some inherent personal pathology but are bound up as much by their environment and the context in which they live.
She has over 30 years’ experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved LMFT & LPC Supervisor.
She is Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and Member of American Family Therapy Academy.
She is the Senior Supervisor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Family Studies Center in the Department of Psychiatry where she trains and supervises interns, psychiatry residents and medical students.
Gloria Martin is in private practice in Dallas, Texas and works with individuals, couples, and families.
Gloria is licensed by the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors and the Texas Board of Examiners of Marriage & Family Therapist. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and is Texas Board Supervisor.
Based on her belief that systems theory can have a broader appeal than the therapy room, Gloria has provided team-building services for Head Start of Greater Dallas and Region 10 Educational Service Center. Gloria has a particular interest in women’s issues, and the mind-body connection.
She conducts ecumenical process groups for female clergy serving in congregations in Dallas. She enjoys traveling, dinner with friends, casual bike riding, and spending time with her family. Gloria has been married to Phill for 44 years. Gloria has two married daughters and a grandson that live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
